No! Stage Zero is the perfect place to start your motorsport journey.
Our events are welcome to newbies, casual competitors, and experienced racers.
Most of our events do not require a Motorsport Licence however, each event is different.
Driver Risk Management events do not require a Motorsport Licence.
Collie Motorplex events do require a Motorsport Australia Licence, however we provide options for obtaining a day licence at these events.
Please double check the event information for licensing requirements prior to entering.
Yes, you are welcome to share the driving of your entered vehicle providing the second driver has followed the above requirements and is signed on to the event.
Please note, our events are charged differently and you may need to submit and pay for 2 entries to ensure you both have a spot reserved to drive. Please check the event information when submitting your entry to confirm.
Nope, we're here to help you get on track and see how it feels before you enter the slippery slope of race car ownership.
Our events are open to road vehicles and race cars of all makes and models.
Bring the daily along for some fun, the project for some testing, or the race car for some practice.
Cars will need to be in good working order with lots of life left in tyres, brake pads, and brake rotors. Fluids should be topped up with no leaks.
You will need a minimum of:
Long sleeves
Long pants
Enclosed shoes
AS/NZS 1698 helmet
Race wear, boots, HANS devices, and higher standard helmets are encouraged if you have them to use.
Well, that does depend on the event, of course!
At Collie, we are able to grant passenger bands to drivers racing on a full Motorsport Australia Licence.
At the Driver Risk Management centre, we have to abide by their strict no passenger policy.
And well, I'd love to see two of you squeeze into a go-kart lets just say that.
Yes! We encourage you to bring friends and family along to enjoy the day with you.
Spectators will not be permitted on track and will be required to stay within specified locations.
Event withdrawals more than 7 days out from the date of the event will receive a full refund.
Withdrawals within 7 days of the event date will receive a refund if the spot can be filled with a waitlisted person.
